- MPs: Managing Partners are Christophe and Julien. They have an equal share in the company, so no one's opinion takes precedence over another. Decision-making happens by agreement and consensus, which is a welcome positive dynamic. We also like to think we are complementary, trusting each other to act alone in our respective ownership areas.
- "Pièce à casser": loosely translated to “martyr document”, is the term we use, not to disparage your work, but to mean we expect your work to be imperfect at this stage. It is more efficient to share early to progress faster together on a collective deliverable. We'd rather have an imperfect "pièce à casser" too soon than a draft that shows up too late to make meaningful changes before a deadline.
- Planting a seed: is often used after a commercial meeting, when we feel there is the potential to achieve great things for a client, but that won't be short-term. In B2B consultancy, deals take a long time to close and, like with seeds, they need attention and nurturing to blossom.
- Weekly Check-ins: we use a weekly short online survey to make a quick check with everyone. It should just take a few minutes to fill. We ask you to submit it before noon on Fridays because the MPs read all the submissions every Friday at noon, and if needed, we'd like to have some time to discuss action points with you before the weekend. We feel it is an important way to take the weight off everyone's shoulders if we can leave knowing what's ahead of us the following week.
