Chatbot implementation for client-tuned sustainability advice
- Implemented a chatbot for an ESG advice company which united intelligent web search with their internal database to provide users with a personalised and relevant solution for their ESG problems.
Cleaning and optimisation of a knowledge database
- updating, improving, and cleaning a project knowledge database.
- Set up interviews with stakeholders
- Understood their needs
- Implemented tailored-made solutions
- Built views of the database
- Added or removed certain properties of the database when required
- Implemented agents to help clean and maintain the quality of that database.
- Automatically scan the database for certain invalid or empty knowledge field properties
- Provide notifications to the relevant people to improve and fill in the database
- Development of a Python-based data analysis framework exploiting cross-correlation which combined statistical methods using both a frequentist and Bayesian approach for parameter estimation
- Python (scipy, numpy, pandas, matplotlib)
- The parallelization of this analysis framework on a high-throughput computing cluster
- HTCondor (DAG files, somewhat similar to Apache Spark) via Python
- Inventing and development of new Bayesian statistical data analysis method combining multiple different gravitational-wave data sources to infer whether the mass distribution of these sources is constant or not. This process was optimized using GPU’s on a computing cluster.
- Python (numpy, scipy, jax, pandas, numpyro, matplotlib)
- Monitoring and mitigating noise features in a gravitational-wave detector via a database of such features. The unknown noise features were searched for using a coherence method in the surrounding environmental channels.
- Python (scipy, numpy)
- Participated in multiple science-communication events to explain my research to people who have little to no understanding of it.
