Overall Interview Process & What to Expect
👋 Initial Interview (30 min)
An interview with a member of our Talent team to get to know you. We want to learn about the highlights of your experience and what you're looking for in your next role, and to tell you about what we're working on at Notion now and in the future.
🧠 Hiring Manager Interview (30 min)
This will be a tactical interview with our Manager of Technical Recruiting that will go into your recruiting background in depth.
🏡 Virtual Onsite (2.5 hours)
Hiring Manager Partnership & Relationship Management (30 min)
We want to see how you build and maintain trusted relationships and how you have worked with hiring managers and cross-functional teams in the past.
Talent Strategy & Domain Expertise (45 min)
In this interview, we will assess your recruiting fundamentals (i.e sourcing, selling strategies, etc) along with your approach to diversity & inclusion and accomplishments in prior roles.
Problem Solving & Operating in the Gray (30 min)
We are a start-up and we want to understand how you prioritize and make decisions with limited resources.
Candidate Journey & Collaboration (45 min)
This interview will be a discussion focused on your frameworks for creating a positive candidate journey and collaborating in a team setting.
💖 Final Interview(s) with C-Suite (30 min)
You will have the opportunity to meet with someone on our executive team as the final step of our process. Please come prepared to have a discussion around our mission and values, as well as your interest in Notion and this opportunity. They will want to understand your goals, interests, and motivations.

As a final step in the process, we will also conduct reference checks. All offers are contingent on a background check, which includes employment verification.
